For Children
The Onawa Public Library strives to foster a love reading for both pleasure and information in our children. We are hoping to get back into programming soon due to Covid-19. We have an annual Summer Reading Program for children grades K - 5. We also provide take home craft projects (take them home or let us know and you can do them here)!
Our Children's area is furnished with both table and chairs, a reading booth, and fun lounging furniture. We also have 2 AWE Learning computers for safe computer play.
In our Children's Area of the library we have - toys to play with during your visit, computers with educational programs, materials such as books, board books, puppets, busy boxes, and magazines to check out.
If you have programming ideas or things you would like us to do please contact us!!!
